The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea 5

Taiwo kept making mistakes through out the day, she was nervous and unsettled. Her palms clammy and wet. At a stage,  Malcolm came into her office and put a reassuring hand on her shoulder
' Taiwo, it's obvious you're nervous, calm down. It's not going to be painful I assure you. You'll soon get the hang of it'
Taiwo nodded as she couldn't trust herself to speak. There was a knot in her throat, a knot that stayed there all through the day. Eating or drinking? Out of the question!
She kept telling herself' I'm doing this for Maami and my brothers. We must be free completely from the shackles of lack. Maami needs the best medical treatment for her to be whole again. We cannot, must not go back to that hell hole of a shanty'
The thought did little to calm her nerves. But she kept chanting it and crying at intervals.
In the evening when everyone had gone home. Malcolm excused himself to get 'it'. She waited in her office, staring absently into space.
Malcolm was back within an hour with his Alsatian, a massive, black creature almost four feet tall. Panting heavily and looking at her with its ferocious eyes. Malcolm took the dog into his private sitting room off his office and gestured to her to enter.
' You'll have to undress quickly' Malcolm said in a brisk manner.
Taiwo nodded miserably. She undressed very slowly, folding her clothes neatly on the couch nearest to her.
Malcolm brought our his camera and arranged it in a tripod stand
' I believe you've had sex before, so you're no green horn. I'll assist with positioning him on you for easier maneuverability'
Tears were coursing down Taiwo's face, tears of fear and shame.
She thought of what Segun Orekoya, her fiance and only true love would say. If this ever got out, would he still want to marry her? She thought of her Maami lying in constant pain, all day long and she steeled her resolve. When the paw of the Alsatian rested on her body, she almost passed out and then he was laid partially on her by Malcolm who promptly started recording her having sex with his dog.
To her relief, it was over in some minutes. She felt dirty and dehumanised. She felt worthless.
Malcolm was done with the recording.
' You did good. I've spoken with the specialists. An ambulance will come pick up your mom first thing tomorrow morning. All expenses on me. Your new letter of appointment with the attendant salary increase and all I've promised you'll get first thing Monday morning. Congrats my dear!' He paused  'plus the car of course!'
He smiled at her warmly as he led the Alsatian out.
' You can make use of my bathroom it's that door over there.' He said nodding towards a door off the tiny bar in the room. With that, he was off.
Taiwo's body started shaking in convulsive sobs. She cried and cried and cried. Eventually she picked herself up and went to the bathroom, to give herself a scrubbing, unrivalled. She scrubbed until her skin felt raw.
